Job Overview: A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney to work closely with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation, emphasizing strategic thinking to meet client objectives. Experience in insurance defense litigation and familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines is preferred.

Duties:

• Collaborate with lead attorneys on all aspects of litigation, including rapid response investigations, case evaluation, reporting, discovery, depositions, and trial presentations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client objectives.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related materials.
• Assist with client communication, including updates, case progress reports, and strategy discussions.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Contribute to case strategy development through active participation in team meetings and discussions.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends impacting insurance defense litigation.

Requirements:

• 1-10 years of relevant legal experience in litigation.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
