Job Title: Mgr, Counsel - Legal Support for In-House Cable Construction and Field Operations Teams
Location: Stamford, Connecticut

Job Summary:

- Support in-house cable construction and field operations teams in the negotiation and preparation of contracts and other legal documents
- Collaborate with other in-house business units to support the deployment of advanced broadband services
- Develop and establish legislation, regulations, and company policies with in-house clients and senior legal team
- Advise senior in-house attorneys and internal business units on legal matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Research and draft summaries of legal issues, meet with business clients and third parties, and provide guidance and assistance to internal clients
- Negotiate and draft business agreements, manage claims and lawsuits, and coordinate with outside counsel as required
- Proactively identify and address key legal issues for management and in-house clients, and provide ongoing monitoring of applicable laws, regulations, and policies
- Lead and direct the work of paralegals and administrative personnel as needed

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather relevant information and draft, analyze, negotiate, and prepare legal documents
- Provide guidance and assistance to internal clients and advise management on legal matters
- Research and draft summaries of legal issues, meet with business clients and third parties, and provide guidance and assistance to internal clients
- Negotiate and draft business agreements, manage claims and lawsuits, and coordinate with outside counsel as required
- Proactively identify and address key legal issues for management and in-house clients, and provide ongoing monitoring of applicable laws, regulations, and policies

Required Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to State Bar in which Attorney practices
- 1+ years of experience in general business legal issues
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate law
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
