Buffalo office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience in defense litigation and experience with insurance coverage disputes. The candidate will be handling the assigned caseload both independently and with supervision commensurate with experience. Will be drafting pleadings, motions, and written discovery. Depositions, court appearances, and motion practice are commensurate with experience. Analyzing insurance policies and drafting insurance coverage opinions. Communicate with clients and provide recommendations. Perform extensive research. Maintain an excellent relationship with clients, including complying with all client guidelines. Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met. Accurately record and maintain billable hours. Should preferably have experience in general litigation and defense work with some experience in insurance coverage disputes, including drafting insurance coverage opinions. Must be Admitted to practice in the State of New York (PA, NJ and/or CT admission is a plus). 2-5 years of experience in defense litigation is required. Federal Court experience is a plus. Should have exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
