H2 - Qualifications
• Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (.) degree
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado
• Prior experience working in a law firm for 1-3 years required
• Experience in Civil Litigation, preferably Construction Defect or General Casualty/Insurance Defense
• Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw)
• Able to work independently while handling multiple files
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
• Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
• Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
• Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
• Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base

H2 - Compensation

At Higgins Hopkins McLain & Roswell, LLC, we are currently seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. We are offering an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established law firm and provide legal counsel to existing clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. This is a full-time position with an excellent salary package of $85,000 - $110,000+ per year, depending on experience.

The ideal applicant will have successfully completed law school and passed the state bar exam. Prior experience working in a law firm for 1-3 years is required, as well as experience in Civil Litigation, preferably Construction Defect or General Casualty/Insurance Defense. The applicant must also be able to work independently while handling multiple files, and must be well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw).
