Job Overview: A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a qualified and experienced Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate Degree with 4-7 years of relevant experience in intellectual property law. The candidate should possess strong writing, drafting, and editing skills, with a preference for those with clerkships and trial experience. While an undergraduate degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, and/or computer science is valuable, it is not a strict requirement.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property matters.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including patents, trademarks, and licensing agreements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel on intellectual property issues to clients.
• Assist in the development and implementation of intellectual property strategies.
• Conduct due diligence in intellectual property transactions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
• 4-7 years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Strong writing, drafting, and editing skills.
• Clerkships and trial experience are advantageous.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, and/or computer science (preferred).

Education:

• Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission.
