A law firm in New York City is seeking a Junior Corporate M&A Associate Attorney to be involved in all aspects of M&A deals. The candidate will gain valuable experience in drafting, negotiating, due diligence coordination, and closing processes. Strong . law firm experience and outstanding academic credentials are required. Fluency in written and verbal Spanish is considered advantageous.

 

Duties:

  • Participate in all phases of M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts and manage the due diligence process.
  • Assist in the closing process and ensure all legal requirements are met.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on corporate and M&A matters.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review corporate documents, including entity formation and governance documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute transaction strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a corporate law practice.
  • Strong . law firm experience.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of New York or eligibility for admission.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal) is a plus.
