A law firm is seeking a Condo/HOA Associate Attorney for their Boca Raton, FL office. The Condo/HOA Associate Attorney will provide representation to Condominium/Homeowner Associations, offering legal counsel on a variety of issues, including Board of Directors/Owner matters, covenant enforcement, and document preparation. They will contribute to the firm's commitment to exceptional client service, providing timely and thorough assistance to clients and partners.

 

Duties:

  • Provide representation to Condominium/Homeowner Associations.
  • Perform legal research and document review.
  • Prepare opinion and violation demand letters.
  • Provide counsel regarding Board of Directors/Owner issues.
  • Attend client Board Meetings to provide guidance as needed.
  • Draft, finalize, and record documents related to Condominium and Homeowners Associations.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Condominium Statutes and advise client’s Board of Directors.
  • Support multiple tasks simultaneously and provide timely follow-up to Partners and clients.
  • Participate in all Continuing Legal Education training.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in legal practice.
  • Florida Bar license.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Homeowners Association Governing documents and Florida Condominium Act/Florida Homeowners Association Act is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Florida Bar license.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
