Position Summary:

- Seeking a Senior Tax Manager with experience in partnership agreements, aggregate allocations, deferral techniques, and consulting for major players in the investment management industry.
- This is a hybrid work model, requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- Responsibilities include high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns, as well as training, mentoring, and supervising Tax Consultants, Tax Seniors, and Tax Managers.
- Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and 8+ years of total corporate tax experience.
- Must have strong managerial experience with budgets, people, and projects, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred accreditations include a CPA license, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP.
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM is also preferred.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Responsibilities Include:

- Providing tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients.
- Assisting clients with effective analysis, solution development, and implementation of tax objectives.
- Developing client relationships and engaging specialists as necessary.
- Performing high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns.
- Leading client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of various transactions.
