Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and tactics.
• Manage caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and ensuring timely communication with clients.
• Assist in all aspects of case management, including file organization, document review, and preparation for hearings and trials.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the California State Bar (active status).
• 2-8 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably at a reputable law firm.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Proven track record of academic excellence.
