Business Ethics & Compliance Associate/Specialist: - Title: Business Ethics & Compliance Associate/Specialist - Location: Wichita, KS - Salary: Competitive and extensive total rewards package - Job Type: Full-time - Experience: Minimum of 2 years in organizational compliance policies, . and international laws/regulations, or relative experience - Education: Bachelor's degree required, MBA or JD preferred - Company: Textron Aviation - Department: Legal - Reporting to: Sr. Associate General Counsel-Compliance Key Responsibilities: - Understand and have experience with anti-money laundering compliance, worldwide anti-corruption regulation, . trade regulations, and key aspects of corporate compliance programs. - Provide business ethics and compliance operational guidance. - Collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives and uphold company's core values in a compliant and ethical manner. - Facilitate approval requests for business courtesies for commercial and government customers. - Train employees and assist with drafting and provisioning of additional training. - Monitor changes in regulatory environment and track industry trends and emerging compliance issues. - Assist with internal risk assessments and audits. - Prepare concise issue briefs and factual summaries. - Create process maps and business procedures to drive compliance into business culture. - Develop, administer, and track the annual compliance plan. - Review and disposition denied party screening matches. - Assist counsel with internal investigations. - Coordinate with the Textron Corporate Ethics & Compliance team. - Other compliance related activities as assigned. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, human resources, or related field. - Minimum of 2 years experience in compliance or related field. - Excellent business writing and communication skills. - Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and influence teams and leaders. - High integrity and commitment to ethical practices. - Strong research skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently as part of a team. - Problem-solving skills and ability to exercise discretion. - Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate across the business.
