Sewickley office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate municipal/litigation attorney with 2 years of relevant experience. The candidate will perform functions as assigned by the partners and senior attorneys of the firm that are billable in nature. These tasks involve legal research, drafting, organization of exhibits and other documents, attendance at County and Township/Borough meetings, arbitrations, and other Court hearings. The primary area of law involved is municipal law, including general county solicitor functions. The position will also provide meaningful experiential opportunities to perform substantive legal research; draft legal memoranda, briefs, and pleadings; and accompany attorneys to court. Assignments as directed by attorneys within the firm involving legal research, drafting, organization of exhibits and other documents, and attendance at depositions and hearings within local magistrate, state, and federal courts. Interact with clients of the firm. Proficiently use computers, including MS Office Suite, for correspondence, research, reports, and email communication. Observe best practices and excellence in legal products and maintain a mutually respectful work environment. Must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in good standing.
