The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience with California employment law, possess a California law license, and demonstrate strong writing skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and proficiency in handling various legal proceedings.

Job Duties:

• Research and analyze complex legal issues related to labor and employment law.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
• Provide counsel and representation to clients in administrative hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff to effectively manage cases.
• Assist in client meetings, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 3-6 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, preferably in California.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Experience with deposition taking, administrative hearings, and trial preparation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Federal clerkship experience is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
