Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on various health care regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex healthcare issues, including Stark and anti-kickback laws, reimbursement structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist clients in structuring and negotiating business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Conducted regulatory due diligence reviews and advised clients on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings, audits, and investigations before regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing health care law, focusing on regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state health care laws and regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid statutes and regulations.
  • Experience representing healthcare providers, hospitals, physician groups, and other entities in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
