Location: Santa Clara, California Department: Legal JOB DESCRIPTION: - Join the legal team at AMD as a Senior Corporate Counsel, supporting the Indirect Procurement Group. - Collaborate with various internal teams to support commercial transactions and legal needs. - Possess a progressive work history with experience in providing legal counsel for purchasing, services, software licensing, and other business issues. - Be able to work remotely and communicate effectively with colleagues and business partners in different regions. - Take initiative and work independently, while also being a team player. - Manage and prioritize workload and competing priorities. - Responsible for handling a variety of commercial matters and negotiating and drafting different types of agreements. - Work closely with other lawyers and paralegals at AMD. - Provide training to employees and the procurement team on contracts, privacy, communication, and compliance. - Develop and update procurement agreement templates and playbooks. - Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally. QUALIFICATIONS: - Law degree and good standing with the appropriate State Bar. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. - Experience with compliance, benefits/HR agreements, data security agreements, and data protection regulations is an advantage. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Handle a variety of commercial matters and possess strong negotiation and drafting skills. - Collaborate with and manage outside counsel and resources effectively. - Provide training to employees and the procurement team. - Develop and update procurement agreement templates and playbooks. - Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally.
