Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in real estate transactions, particularly in the areas of Affordable Housing and Tax Credits
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and leases
  • Conduct due diligence reviews of title and survey matters
  • Negotiate and draft easements, leases, and other real estate documents
  • Assist with the structuring and financing of affordable housing projects
  • Handle closings and facilitate the transfer of real property
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance issues related to affordable housing and tax credit programs

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Member (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission to the Florida Bar
  • 2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate law
  • Strong background in title and survey matters
  • Knowledge of easements, leases, and real estate transactions
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Membership (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar
