# Senior Legal Counsel

## Job Summary

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide sophisticated legal advice across a multitude of topics and matters and work with key stakeholders from various functions to provide proactive and pragmatic support for business objectives and strategic initiatives. You will share knowledge and best practices, identify efficiencies and drive continuous improvement. Your role will require you to proactively identify relevant legal developments and manage external legal counsel in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and collaborative with high integrity and a pragmatic approach. Qualifications include:

- Strong experience in handling commercial matters across subject matters, including transactional matters and commercial contracts
- Experience with litigation matters a plus
- Proven ability to navigate complex matters and provide pragmatic advice
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture
- A team player with ability to work independently and to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- A proactive and customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to provide high-quality legal support with limited supervision and often under time pressure
- Creativity in dealing with complex legal issues, and the ability to move projects forward by gaining needed support
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex issues in a simple way to business partners and other stakeholders
