Job Summary:
- Provide legal counsel to various bank departments, with a focus on litigation, depository and branch operations, fraud investigations, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee active and threatened litigation, developing effective resolution strategies.
- Advise on issues related to consumer and commercial deposit relationships, safe deposit boxes, subpoenas, garnishments, levies, and ancillary commercial deposit services.
- Advise on lending structure and documentation for approved loan transactions.
- Stay updated on federal and state regulations related to the bank's business activities.
- Serve as a point of contact for outside counsel.
- Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Admission to the California, Oregon, and/or Washington bar associations or willingness to gain such admission.
- 10 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on financial institutions or in-house positions with a financial institution.
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulations, Uniform Commercial Code, and case law related to consumer and commercial depository relationships.
- Working knowledge of state laws related to secured transactions and creditor's rights preferred.
- Familiarity with state and federal court rules and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and handle stressful situations professionally.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Pay range for this role is $100, - $225,, dependent on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and location.
