A law firm in Champaign is currently seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of insurance/personal injury defense experience. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The Attorney will play a key role in handling insurance and personal injury defense cases for the law firm. This position requires a thorough understanding of insurance law, strong litigation skills, and the ability to provide effective legal representation for clients.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to insurance and personal injury defense cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Work closely with clients to understand case details and provide legal advice.
• Collaborate with experts, witnesses, and other legal professionals in building a solid defense strategy.
• Conduct depositions and participate in discovery processes.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.

Requirements:
