The Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant General Counsel to join their legal team in Stamford, CT. This role will report to the EVP and General Counsel and will be responsible for providing a wide range of legal services to the company. The ideal candidate will have a mix of top law firm experience and in-house experience in a publicly traded corporation, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

As an Assistant General Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team, providing legal guidance and support to the business clients. You will also have the opportunity to actively participate in the company's acquisition activity, including due diligence review and drafting and negotiating transaction documents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance and counseling to business clients on various matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements
- Manage the company's legal entity structure and corporate governance
- Assist in M&A activity, including due diligence review and drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Develop practical solutions for business objectives
- Participate in staff meetings and training to enhance the effectiveness of the Law Department

Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Connecticut
- 7-10 years of experience as an attorney with a mix of top law firm and in-house experience
- Ability to partner effectively with business clients to achieve business objectives while minimizing risks
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to ethical conduct
- Highly motivated and positive attitude
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive legal matters
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
