Job Description:

As a Director, Assistant General Counsel at TransUnion, you will have the opportunity to manage a significant workflow of commercial agreements, negotiate complex contracts, and advise stakeholders on the status of agreement negotiations. We are looking for a candidate with a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on negotiating contracts with . federal, state, municipal, and educational institutions.

This is a hybrid position that involves both virtual and in-person work at an assigned TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days a week. Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate complex contracts and related documents with public sector customers
- Anticipate and protect the company against risk exposure
- Advise stakeholders on the status of agreement negotiations
- Exhibit a willingness to learn and grow
- Keep abreast of current legislative and regulatory developments
- Assist other attorneys on various matters
- Interpret and manage highly complex legal matters
- Maintain confidentiality of company-related business
- Provide formal and informal training for internal clients

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required
- 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Comprehensive expertise of the FAR, DFARS and other agency FAR-supplements
- Experience interpreting complex documents
- Knowledge and understanding of FCRA, GLBA, privacy, technology, and intellectual property preferred
- Familiarity with information security guidelines preferred
- Ability to work independently and exhibit sound judgment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
