Summary:

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant for their Federal Tax Advisory team, located in various cities across the US. The role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with some of the largest organizations in the world. As a member of the team, you will have the chance to develop your skills and build a strong foundation in tax technical, management, marketing, and business skills. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and have at least four years of related work experience. A valid US Enrolled Agent, CPA, or licensed attorney designation is also required.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate delivery of effective tax solutions for clients
- Identify new business opportunities through critical and independent thinking
- Assist in executing client engagements and providing timely and high-quality tax research
- Manage projects to ensure timely delivery of analysis and client deliverables
- Develop client relationships and industry knowledge
- Guide and mentor associates, providing performance feedback and supporting their development
- Stay current on tax trends and developments and apply them to client scenarios
- Utilize tools and technologies, such as SharePoint and MS Power BI, to enhance work processes
- Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management information systems, or related field
- Approximately four years of related work experience, OR a graduate degree in tax, law, or management information systems and approximately three years of related work experience
- Valid US Enrolled Agent, CPA, or licensed attorney designation or eligible to obtain one
- Experience with tax research and analyzing large datasets
- Strong managerial, organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and supervise EY and client personnel
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, and data mining tools
- Familiarity with IRS tax controversy and statistical sampling is preferred
- Certifications in Alteryx or Microsoft products (MSCA) are a plus
- Advanced degree, such as MST, MSA, JD, or LLM, is preferred
