Overview:
- Florida Attorney General's Internship Program offers law student internships for academic credit or through law school sponsored programs
- Interns will have the opportunity to work with experienced attorneys and handle meaningful legal work
- Positions are available in various divisions, including Statewide Prosecution, Civil Litigation, and Consumer Protection
- Interns must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week and must apply by the designated deadline

Job Title: Law Student Intern
Experience: Law student enrolled in an accredited ABA law school
Salary: Unpaid, academic credit or participation in law school sponsored programs available for select positions

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparation for trials
- Attend court proceedings, depositions, and other legal proceedings with attorneys
- Participate in case strategy discussions and assist with case management
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal cases
- Complete administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited ABA law school
- Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Interest in and knowledge of the legal system and current legal issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

How to Apply:
- Complete and submit the application packet by the designated deadline
- Application materials include: application, resume, letter from advisor or university confirming eligibility for academic credit or participation in a law school sponsored program, and official transcript
- 2nd and 3rd year law students may be required to provide a writing sample at the time of interview

- Positions are available in various locations throughout Florida, including Daytona Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee, Tampa, and West Palm Beach
- Applicants must select their top 3 location preferences and must choose a location that corresponds with the division they are applying for
- Selecting a location without a corresponding division office will delay the application process
