Bar admission is a prerequisite for this role.

Duties:

• Handle a range of legal matters related to business reorganization and financial restructuring.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support the development of case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and transactional agreements.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and other related forums.
• Provide strategic advice to clients facing financial challenges.

Requirements:

• Stellar academic record, with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.

Experience:

3-5 or more years of sophisticated commercial bankruptcy practice, with a proven track record of handling both litigation and transactional matters.
