Duties:

  • Demonstrate excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Take depositions and/or present oral arguments in the courtroom
  • Actively involve oneself in handling complex cases
  • Collaborate with partners, legal assistants, and paralegals as a team player
  • Possess litigation experience, with appellate and/or trial experience considered a plus
  • Conduct civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defense being advantageous

  • Adhere to appropriate bar association regulations and ethical standards

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to the appropriate bar association within the state of employment
  • 1 year of experience in construction, contract, personal injury, premises liability, or other complex litigation

 

Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Confidence in taking depositions and presenting oral arguments
  • Ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively
  • Litigation experience, with appellate and/or trial experience preferred
