Plantation office of our client seeks an associate attorney with experience. The candidate will be responsible for compiling and maintaining case files, adhering to court requirements, and acting as an advocate for the list of clients. Will consult with clients on legal best practices. Prepare case file documents. Conduct Legal Research and anticipate legal risks. Draft memorandums of law. Work alongside the firm's partners to compile comprehensive trial briefs and case strategies. Draft and Negotiate settlements. Review discovery documents and define the best course of action. Calendar all applicable case and court deadlines. Adhere to a consistent schedule of hearings, court appearances, and case-related conferences. Be prepared to appear at legal hearings. Assist the firm's partners with trial preparation. Facilitate the depositions of experts and case witnesses. Appellate experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Administrative and managerial experience preferred. Must be a member of the Florida Bar.
