A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a skilled attorney with 1-6 years of experience to join their team as a Brief Writer and Researcher. The candidate will work closely with an attorney whose practice focuses on construction accidents, product liability, and other catastrophic injuries. This role requires exceptional writing and organizational skills, as well as the ability to conduct thorough legal research.

Duties:

• Draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal briefs, memos, and documents for various cases, with a primary focus on construction accidents, product liability, and catastrophic injuries.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies and provide sound legal opinions.
• Review and analyze extensive legal documentation, statutes, regulations, and precedents to build strong legal arguments.
• Assist in case preparation, including evidence collection and witness interviews.
• Collaborate with the supervising attorney to develop case strategies and provide valuable legal insights.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in Pennsylvania.
• 1-6 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation, personal injury, or related areas.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality legal documents.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research using various databases and resources.
• Knowledge of construction accidents, product liability, and catastrophic injury law.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
• Time management and multitasking capabilities to meet deadlines and handle a high caseload effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
