A law firm based in Orlando, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, distinguished academic credentials, superior writing and analytical skills, and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing.

 

Duties:

  • Engage in complex commercial litigation cases with national implications.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing litigation efforts.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal court procedures and deadlines.
  • Handle Electronic Discovery processes efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding litigation matters.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Federal clerkship background preferred.
  • Distinguished academic record.
  • Superior writing and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.
  • Active license to practice law required.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
  • Superior writing and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Discovery processes.
