A law firm in Dallas is seeking a Disability Associate Attorney. The Attorney will provide legal advice to clients and prepare for and represent clients at disability hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges. Legal writing at the ALJ and Appeals Council levels is required. Communication with clients via telephone, mail, and email at all levels of the disability process is essential.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice to clients regarding Social Security Disability law.
  • Prepare and represent clients at disability hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including appeals and briefs.
  • Communicate with clients via telephone, mail, and email at all stages of the disability process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case records.

 

Requirements:

  • Attorney License.
  • 1-3 years of experience practicing Social Security Disability law preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and professional environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
