Salary Information:

$120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

Corporate Counsel - Contracts #AHA-230

Aisin Holdings of America, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel – Contracts to join our Legal Affairs Department in either Northville, MI or Seymour, IN. In this role, you will provide legal advice and support for contract documents and transactions, as well as manage the Company’s contract document review and contract lifecycle management programs. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plan, as well as covering travel expenses for domestic and international trips.

Responsibilities include:

Reviewing and marking up contract documents
Drafting contracts and other contractual documents
Negotiating contracts with customers, suppliers, and other outside parties
Managing and overseeing legal vendors and law firms
Overseeing and managing the Company’s contract document review program
Maintaining and updating the Company’s contract lifecycle management software
Overseeing and managing standardized contracts and the Standardized eContract System
Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics for the contract document review program

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in an in-house legal department reviewing contracts and providing legal advice on contracts and transactions
Prior experience managing or participating in an enterprise-wide contract document review program
Strong business acumen and proficiency in supply chain issues
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
