The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience, possess a strong background in handling challenging and complex cases, and demonstrate expertise in various aspects of commercial litigation.

Duties:

  • Handle commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution, including client intake, discovery, case management, and trial representation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and courtroom proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to effectively manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough case records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admission to the New York State Bar is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation and trial practice.
  • Proven track record of success in handling complex commercial litigation matters.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admission to the New York State Bar is desirable.

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial litigation and trial advocacy.
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case analysis.
