A law firm is seeking a talented and experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney, Counsel, or Junior Partner to join its team in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of commercial transactional real estate experience, including involvement in M&A transactions. Experience in leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, sale-leasebacks, and real estate due diligence, particularly title review, is highly desirable.

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research related to real estate transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating real estate agreements, including leases, purchase agreements, and contracts for sale
  • Advising clients on real estate investment strategies and risk management
  • Handling real estate due diligence, including title review and property inspections
  • Assisting with the closing process for real estate transactions
  • Providing legal counsel on real estate regulatory matters

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial transactional real estate experience
  • Experience with M&A transactions preferred
  • Strong understanding of real estate law and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity

Skills:
