The Litigation Practice Group Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling various aspects of complex litigation matters, with a focus on insurance and reinsurance disputes. The role involves drafting complex submissions, preparing witnesses, expert discovery, and trial practice. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and demonstrate a keen interest in developing pretrial and trial practice skills.

Duties:

• Draft complex submissions for litigation cases.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and trials.
• Conduct expert discovery and assist in trial practice.
• Develop pretrial and trial practice skills.
• Handle insurance and reinsurance disputes.

Requirements:

• Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• 2+ years of experience in complex litigation matters.
• Interest in arbitration trial practice.
• Preferably, a background in insurance/reinsurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professionalism in working with demanding clients.
• Ability to balance and prioritize competing priorities.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.

Education and Certifications:

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
