Job Duties:

  • Draft and review offering documents, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes.
  • Provide legal advice and support on fund-related matters to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm on various projects.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of legal matters and client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice in Illinois.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a relevant legal field.
  • Direct experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of investment fund structures and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
