Law Firm is currently looking to hire a Social Security Disability Attorney to join their team. This person will be responsible for guiding persons with disabilities and their families through the process of applying for Social Security Disability benefits including appeals.

The ideal candidate will have:

Over five (5) years of practice experience as a licensed attorney
Admitted to practice in Washington State
Relevant areas of practice include Social Security Disability Law
Medicaid and Veterans Administration benefits experience is a plus

Responsibilities include:

Assisting clients with the application process of apply for benefits
Reviewing and analyzing medical files
Preparing for and attending disability hearings with the Social Security Administration
Drafting documents such as pre and post hearing briefs, appellate briefs, motions, affidavits, and correspondence
Representing Claimants at hearings before Administrative Law Judges

Exceptional Knowledge of physical and mental impairments
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Superior communication skills via online meetings, telephone, email, and in-person
Ability to think critically and proactively and remain effective under pressure
A collaborative team player as well as a self-motivated independent agent

Highly organized and exceptionally detail-oriented
Skilled at multi-tasking

Law Firm is offering a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Annual salary range is $80,000 to $130,000.
