Job Summary:

. Morgan is seeking an experienced Private Banker to join our . Private Bank team in Grand Rapids, MI. The Private Banker will be responsible for advising families on building, preserving, and managing their wealth. This role requires a strong understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts, as well as proven sales success and strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain relationships with clients, earning their trust and providing targeted advice
- Generate new business and acquire assets from both existing and new clients
- Provide comprehensive advice on asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs
- Collaborate with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients
- Connect clients across all lines of business within . Morgan Chase & Co.
- Ensure proposed solutions meet clients' short, medium, and long-term goals
- Adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree and six plus years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates considered with ability to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Established network and strong community presence
- In-depth knowledge of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts
- Client-focused and dedicated to providing exceptional service

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

- MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred
- Proactive and able to solve problems using critical thinking
- Dynamic and credible professional with exceptional presentation skills
- Highly organized and disciplined approach to business
- Experience with equity and fixed income markets, as well as alternative investments such as Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Real Estate
