A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Reno, NV office. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Nevada and exhibit an interest in various areas such as construction and business litigation, mechanic's liens, real estate, will/trusts litigation, and complex civil litigation. Prior clerkship experience is advantageous.

 

Duties:

  • Assist in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case preparation
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management
  • Conduct client interviews and maintain communication throughout the legal process
  • Manage caseload efficiently and effectively

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada
  • 1+ years of relevant experience

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Prior clerkship experience is a plus
