Flushing office of our client seeks estate planning attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will work on advanced estate and income tax planning matters. Will evaluate and update template documents, letters, and procedures. Be able to draft high-quality correspondence; estate planning documents; Probate, Administration, and Conservatorship petitions; strategy recommendations; settlement agreements. Research estate planning and probate issues. Represent clients at Probate, Administration, Trust, and Conservatorship court hearings. Review client issues on Trust and Estate matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action. Meet with clients, perform intake, and follow up with clients. A strong understanding of the needs and priorities of estate planning attorneys, their clients, and the general legal market is essential. Knowledge of tax implications of trusts and estates needed. Must possess Master of Laws (.) Degree. Admitted in New York Bar, other states are a plus.
