Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and policy advice to clients in the energy industry, including Fortune 100 companies and small start-ups.
• Handle complex regulatory and litigation matters at both the state and federal levels.
• Represent clients in administrative litigation before state public utilities commissions.
• Work closely with regulatory colleagues and client subject matter experts to develop constructive regulatory and policy outcomes.
• Develop relationships with clients as a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to the growth and expansion of the firm's energy regulatory practice.
• Participate in community and pro bono activities.
• Stay up-to-date on industry and legal developments.
• Provide excellent client service and maintain a high standard of professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas or Colorado.
• 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory litigation and/or commercial litigation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Client-focused with excellent client service skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle a high volume of work.

Compensation:

• Annual base compensation based on a lock-step scale ranging from $170,000-$250,000, depending on year and geographic location.
• Annual bonus based on performance.
