As a Tax Senior Associate at RSM, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and provide them with tax services and advice. Job Title: Tax Senior Associate - Corporations
Experience: Minimum 2 years in public accounting environment
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

- Prepare complex tax returns for public and private multinational corporate clients (25-40% of time)
- Train and mentor staff level and intern team members (10% of time)
- Review and analyze tax returns in detail (10-15% of time)
- Interact directly with clients, addressing questions and concerns (10% of time)
- Conduct research and provide conclusions on specific tax issues (10% of time)
- Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law
- Other duties as assigned
- Some travel may be required

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam or a licensed JD
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting
- Experience with C-Corps
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master of Accounting degree
- CPA, JD, LLM, or EA certification
- Experience with national or large regional accounting firm
- Experience with ASC 740 and accounting for income taxes
- Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
- Experience with international tax matters
- Fluency in French, German, Japanese, or Mandarin with a deep understanding of the culture and business practices
- Track record of managing relationships with large non-US companies with operations in North America
