The ideal candidate should have experience in real property tax litigation, assessment challenges, valuation issues, and eminent domain matters. Strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with being licensed to practice law in New York State.

Duties:

• Handle real property tax litigation cases.
• Assist in assessment challenges and valuation issues.
• Provide legal counsel on eminent domain matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to property tax and condemnation cases.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
• 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney in real property, tax, or litigation.
• Familiarity with property tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar.
