A law firm in Las Vegas is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 1 year of experience defending civil litigation cases. The ideal candidate should be licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and possess exceptional communication, analytical, research, and writing skills. Trial experience is preferred, along with a strong work ethic and the ability to independently manage case files. Additionally, an interest in marketing and client development is desired.

 

Duties:

  • Defend civil litigation cases, including but not limited to personal injury, contract disputes, and employment matters.
  • Independently manage case files, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and preparing for hearings and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Analyze legal issues and develop case strategies.
  • Participate in marketing and client development activities to grow the firm's practice.
  • Attend trials and hearings, if necessary, and represent clients in court proceedings.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience defending civil litigation cases.
  • Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage case files independently.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Interest in marketing and client development.
  • Trial experience preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the State of Nevada.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
