As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced business attorney to join our team as Corporate Counsel.

Responsibilities
As the Business Attorney at New Pig Corporation, you will play a vital role in providing legal support and advice to our leadership and executive officers. Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating with executive management to understand corporate objectives and providing advisory support
- Engaging external counsel as needed and coordinating efforts in various areas of law, such as corporate, contract, intellectual property, real estate, and employment
- Reviewing legal agreements and making recommendations for successful execution
- Assisting with mergers and acquisitions by executing necessary documents
- Developing and executing a plan to audit contract compliance and ensure all corporate documents are in good order
- Utilizing technology and contract management software to receive, document, and execute contracts
- Organizing and filing legal documents and correspondence

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A Juris Doctorate degree and a successful passing of the bar exam
- An active license from the State Bar Association
- Experience in business law
- Willingness to work onsite at our headquarters in Tipton, PA
- Strong sense of initiative and internal motivation
- Critical thinking skills and ability to make timely and tough business decisions
- Capacity to operate in a complex, global environment while driving and influencing results
- Strong research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop detailed reports and correspondence and speak effectively before diverse groups of people
- Strong operational and financial acumen
- Broad understanding of fundamental business principles and analytical problem-solving skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and process tools
