Job Overview:

The Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney will handle various aspects of commercial litigation cases, from drafting complex motions to participating in jury and bench trials. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional advocacy skills, a strong academic background, and a proactive approach to case management.

Duties:

• Drafting and arguing complex motions in commercial litigation cases.
• Propounding and responding to discovery requests.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Assisting in both jury trials and bench trials.
• Providing support in case management and strategy development.
• Conducting legal research and analysis as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of meaningful commercial litigation experience in a mid-size to large law firm setting or equivalent trial experience in other settings is required.
• Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Admission to and good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive attitude towards case management.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas Bar.
