## Tax Senior - Investment Management - Private Equity Tax

Deloitte is seeking a Tax Senior for its Investment Management - Private Equity Tax team in the Central region. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the largest growth area in the tax industry and serve some of the firm's largest clients. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field and 3+ years' experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns.

### Responsibilities

As a Tax Senior, the successful candidate will fulfill the following responsibilities:

* Perform detail-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings
* Coordinate and communicate with client contacts to gather information to complete their tax returns
* Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff
* Prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects related to tax planning opportunities
* Analyze and develop solutions for tax implications of various transactions

### Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

* Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week
* 3+ years’ experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field
* One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or must be willing and able to obtain:
* Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
* If not CPA eligible:
* Licensed attorney
* Enrolled Agent
* Certifications:
* Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
* Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
* Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred qualifications include:

* Previous Big 4 experience or large CPA firm experience
* 2+ years’ experience with investment management or partnership taxation
* Experience with Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and the tax compliance process for investment partnerships
* Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
* Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

This role has a wage range of $63,420 to $126,620. In addition, the successful candidate may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.
