  • Handle complex divorce cases involving significant assets.
  • Manage cases involving parental responsibility and timesharing, including sensitive issues like domestic violence and mental health.
  • Demonstrate empathy and advocacy for clients' interests.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including motions, hearings, and final hearings.
  • Attend mediation and settlement conferences with clients.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and orders.
  • Lead and collaborate with team members, including Paralegals, to ensure effective case management.
  • Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office and Clio for case management and documentation.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of litigation, client communication, law office administration, and Florida Bar compliance.
  • Communicate complex legal issues clearly to clients.
  • Utilize Zoom and other video conferencing software effectively for court presentations.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Prior experience in Family Law practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with Clio is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work.
  • Strong track record of success in family law practice.
  • Mastery of Zoom and video conferencing software for court presentations.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
