A law firm in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and the ability to earn clients' trust. The attorney should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss their cases, providing compassionate guidance and building trust.
• Communicate with insurance companies to relay the status of claims, demands, and offers.
• Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clients.
• Evaluate property damage claims, demonstrating expertise in the field.
• Maintain updated knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct client meetings to understand their cases and offer legal guidance.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, keeping clients informed about claim status.
• Attend and represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Evaluate 1st Party Property Damage claims, demonstrating a deep understanding of the legal aspects.
• Stay current with laws and regulations related to property damage claims.

Requirements:

• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with a preference for First Party Property Damage experience.
• Superb negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active membership in the Florida Bar.
