A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for its Fort Lauderdale, FL, office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and play a key role in complex commercial litigation cases.

Job Overview:

  • Position: Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to assigned cases
  • Draft discovery requests, responses, and subpoenas
  • Prepare substantive motions, pleadings, and briefs for both Federal and State courts
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation as necessary
  • Manage and organize case files and documents

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Florida Bar
  • 3-8 years of experience in complex commercial litigation
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Prior experience drafting discovery and substantive motions
  • Familiarity with both Federal and State court procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a large case and/or firm setting
