A law firm in New York City is currently seeking a skilled Lateral Corporate - Project Finance/Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating concession agreements, long-term lease agreements, comprehensive agreements, and similar agreements in the PPP space, as well as significant experience in negotiating secured financings including credit agreements, pledge agreements, security agreements, collateral agency agreements, and bond transactions.

 

Job Overview:

  • Negotiate concession agreements, long-term lease agreements, comprehensive agreements, and similar agreements in the PPP space.
  • Handle negotiations related to design, construction, interface, operations, and maintenance agreements.
  • Negotiate secured financings including credit agreements, pledge agreements, security agreements, collateral agency agreements, and bond transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Negotiate and draft concession agreements, long-term lease agreements, and comprehensive agreements.
  • Review and negotiate design, construction, interface, operations, and maintenance agreements.
  • Handle negotiations related to secured financings and bond transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and due diligence.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on project finance and infrastructure matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 4-7 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure.
  • Experience negotiating concession agreements and secured financings.
  • Strong understanding of project finance and infrastructure transactions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar.
