A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Chicago, IL office. The attorney will be responsible for communicating with clients with authority and compassion, drafting correspondence and pleadings, possessing experience in navigating the Cook County and Lake County courts, and conducting legal research and writing.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
• Draft correspondence and legal pleadings
• Navigate the Cook County and Lake County courts with ease
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and writing tasks
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff on case strategies and client matters

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in one of the following areas: motion practice, guardianship, estate planning, elder law, Medicaid Planning, and/or probate
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the Illinois State Bar
