- Level V: Licensed by the California State Bar and four (4) years of full-time criminal prosecution or five (5) years of practice in law.

The Deputy District Attorney position offers a $15,000 non-pensionable recruitment bonus for all employees hired on or after April 22, 2023, in a permanent capacity. The bonus is payable upon completion of a five-year term of service with the hiring department.
